just tried to start her now again and all fine, except the dash clock and fuel/temp section decided to flicker then not come on again :roll:

checked the fuses, all seem fine. hit it a few times, no difference.

taken the dash off and the unit appart and found this

notice the burnt sections on both? im guessing it's burnt out :? vanzep didnt your clock and fuel/temp dial section die a while back? did you just replace the unit?

Yes i just replaced the whole unit.
It smelt of fish so im guessing its got some melted bits in which would make it beyond repair :lol:

either a guy in Broughton which is near to me, or EFI Motorsports in Runcorn will get her mapped to a certain standard and make sure all is running ok.

after that if she survives, Graham who does the mapping for the Mugen world touring cars is to map it for me on a local rented dyno :twisted:
