i need to do mine planning on doing it when i do my engine swap as its not the rebuilding of the pump thats the problem its getting it out

,,, i have had my abs pump disconnected by pulling the relay and fuse and linked the abs light over to another in the dash cluster so it keeps the mot guy happy

Yep, they're an absolute b@stard to remove! Me and Matt @ Red-R Performance did it few months ago on one of my project JDM lude. Hard lesson's were learnt lol. My main lude has the same issue, this time we will be removing the complete intake manifold first.

And yep. Definitely an intake manifold out job. Easier second time you remove one.
