Could you share any info on the braided clutch line? I see your using just a banjo bolt for the master cylinder, but how did you connect it up to the slave cylinder? And how long is the hose that you used? I've just changed the fly and clutch and want to get rid of the hardlines.

Looks good dude. Very tidy job. On my mx5, I connected the oil temp sensor to a oil filter sandwich plate. What are the differences in taking the oil temp from the sump?

And out of curiosity, had you bled your clutch system before taking the pics? I ask because I've just changed my fly and clutch but it's still slipping. And I'm pretty sure its because my slave cylinder wasn't compressing fully and the rod was staying out just enough to make it slip. Looking at the pics, yours is a lot more compressed than mine. But then i'm not sure on the amount of movement i have on my fork as well. Tho I'm fairly certain its attached properly to the spring, the fork doesn't have enough force in it to compress my slave cylinder. At least not like yours.

I apologise for the ramble  I've just got everything i need from Torque's to make my own braided clutch cable. Along with a new slave cylinder, so hope it sorts my problem. Not looking forward to the possibility of dropping the box again on my own :|

i took the location of the oil temp sensor in the sump from merlin
http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/post164 ... mp#p164776

only difference is i live around the corner from Demon Tweeks so a sump plug sensor was easy for me to pick up lol

ive not bled my system before taking the pics no, i dont think i ever have tbf. Your slave cylinder could be dodgy as they can become stiff/stuck according to njord when i recently asked him about them, that maybe your problem?
