Clutch pedal too easy to press?
Post by Therealjj91 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 6:37 pm
Is there anyway of getting more feeling through the clutch pedal as there's almost no resistance when you press on the pedal or let up. I know it's not my clutch because I've got a ATR one in there with only 2000 miles on it.

There is a way if increasing feel on a prelude clutch, by removing the damper. However... If your clutch feels as bad as you say, it means there is a fundamental problem with it to start with, so removing the damper isn't the answer.
Check both the master and slave cylinder (not the easiest to check, since half of it is inside the box) and lines for leaks, check the fluid level and if all good, then do a good bleed on it, ideally enough to replace the fluid. Then see what it is like.

I find our clutches light in comparison to others in general. It would be nice to stiffen the pedal feel though.
