Just put down a deposit on a 1997 2.2 vti manual and picking it up next week. The way it drove: WOW! Totally smitten. Its a bit rough on the bodywork but got good solid base to work with.
The worst offenders are the wheel arches, the only ones I can find are from a polish company at £200 on ebay.
Does anyone on here have a suggestion for where to find a pair of rear quarter panels for a mk5?
Cheers.

Welcome.
Preludes are indeed, great to drive and draw you in!
Look forward to seeing some pics of your purchase.
You can buy the rear quarter panels (and sills if needed) from a member on the forum, thread here

Super Secret 1G (not really super secret!)
Thanks guys.
Yes the car was a very pleasant surprise. I'd never driven a car with vtec before and once it comes on the vtec is savage! It seems like it skips a couple of numbers on the rev counter. Pplus the 4ws made my jaw drop. and also so comfy and spacious, it feels very much the grand tourer with that lovely honda build quality and attention to detail.
Admittedly mine is in need of some tlc, but with mileage at 123k I think that's not bad given it's 20 years old.
I'll be dealing with the arches in college, and I need to get photos done for my portfolio, so I'll post as many pics as possible when the time comes.
