Hi everyone. And hello to those who may not of read my build thread yet. Been a while since Ive been on so after collecting and fitting some new goodies, thought I'd do an update.
So some of you may follow via Facebook ect and already seen these go on. But here they are, on record, for everyone's viewing pleasure, (and I know how much you lot love pictures of sexy parts)
So firstly I picked up a set of Rota Slip streams AND a set of Meister R Zeta R (I think) coilovers from Danny whilst I was up north on holiday. To say I was excited was an understatement

To be honest, the wheels are well good enough for my OCD to use but the Meister R's needed some work.
So I got them stripped down and got the springs, suspension forks and rear lower brackets to my local metal finishers. He did a great job, soda blasted them and had the springs powder coated standard red and the brackets black. All done within 3 hours at a cost of £50. Job done.

Got all that lot back together and cleaned up as I went along. Unfortuneatly the rear sleeves where seized solid. I could fix this issue but I'd have to replace both rear shocks and sleeves at a total cost of £400, which I will do at some point. But for now the height is almost where I'd want it anyway. Fronts are completely free, clean and greased up. Gorgeous
Next was the exhaust manifold. Now the manifold I had on there was an eBay special stainless steel crap that came from the scrap yard

BUT it had served its purpose and was now showing the effects of such smashing of the rev limiter
It had started to crack at the head flange and was getting to the point of being too restrictive at 1.3/4 inch merge collector
So I managed to snap up a brand new, and I mean brand new DC Sports Manifold, mild steel ceramic coated for a bargain price of £160. Absolutely over the moon. The merge collector on this is a tad over 2.1/4 inch so matches my exhaust system perfectly.
So out with the old, in with the new. Fitted up perfectly.
So after all that, on went the wheels. Its starting to look and feel exactly how I want it too. So next big spend is now the intake manifold, then ECU and getting Romain to map it. Happy days.
That's all for now and Thanks all
