I think it needs 15's or 16's personally. I like the look of the 17's on it, and can't fault them really for what they cost me, but 15's or 16's will be the eventual wheel size I'll settle with.

I don't think it is really that small a car, but I guess that's cos I think of it as a shooting brake rather than a proper estate car.

It's ridiculously low! It's one of those cars when you're looking for a space in a conjested carpark and finally think "Yeay, I found one! :D " and then but no!... There's a bloody Accor.. Accord?! That doesn't look like any bloody Accord I ever saw!

Hahaa, yep, I love that response from people. Had someone down the shop the other day, and they were asking about what car I had, and I just said I had an old skool Honda Accord, and they were actually standing next to it and asked where it was!!!!

On the flip side though, it's a car where you park it in a congested car park, and can't find the bloody thing! At least with my Holden it stuck out the bay by 3 foot (3 1/2 feet if you include the tow hitch, the evil thing! ) and to make matters worse, it doesn't even have remote locking with the typical Honda beep to help you find it!

Well I've been busy today and dropped it. Coil over kit on the front, and 3 coils chopped out the rear, and this is the result!

And it got some really nice camber on the front end too!!

Looks much better Dom. How well do the chopped springs sit on the dampeners now though? :?

Think those wheels have to go though dude  They may have been a bargain, but they're soooo bloody massive!

The chopped springs sit fine mate, was a bit of a mare to get one of them to stay in position though when lowering it off the jack, but once it's in there, it's staying in till it gets jacked up again

I actually am beginning to really like the look of the 17s on there now it's decked. I would like to get a set of 16" Rota RBs though, as I really reckon they'd suit that spot on, but it's as and when I can afford it though.

Well if I go over a hump fast enough for the rear wheels to get airborne, I think the spring seating is the least of my worries!!

Sorted it out! The problem was that when I took the dust sleeve off the front shocks, there was a part of it that acted like a washer to stop the top bump stop from moving down from the top hat and down the shock. So what was happening was the shock itself was moving up and down!!!! Needless to say, the problem was found, and resolved, all nicely and within an hour. Not bad time frame really to strip down both the front suspension legs, fix the issue, and reassemble :D

I do love the 'deck, how easily everything comes apart as it's all been so well maintained. There was grease in the bolts from the suspension where the original owner had taken it to Honda for a grease up to stop anything from seizing :D
