Cheap vented discs warp easily in my experience, I've had it on many cars, then swapped for quality ones and problem solved. You can get away with cheap solid discs all day long though.

agree with whats been said before.

Disks cant be warped - or it wouldnt improve over time.

Had this on some track days on OE brakes - it clears after a while. From all my reading i conclude its the pad overheating, and 'transfering' its material to the disc, and this causes uneven braking felt as shuddering proportional to speed. Eventually it rubs off the next day when the brakes are cold and not being abused.

ive had the standard 282mm setup do this at coombe (all new bog standard stuff with rbf600 fluid).

strangely, i didnt get it on my other lude with 282 bog standard setup - just complete failure due to fluid boiling on the track day.

needless to say, rebuilt ATR twin pots, 300mm drilled/grooved + ferodo ds2500 + rbf600 fluid = absolutely no problems on track day.

That sounds like the problem. Changing the pads would be a solution if that is the case.
