Hi all,
Just wondering if ludes has such thing, as I've heard that similar aged e36 and others have this and deleting this appendix really changes characteristics of the car.
During master cylinder and gearbox change I didn't see anythinglike that, but I'm not that advanced mechanic really.
S2k and newer civics and Accords also feature this I guess comfort thing, but not sure about Lude.
Any thoughts form elders of the internet and fellow luders?

Clutch bumpstop? Yes the 5th has one. You can delete it and the clutch feels more positve.

Yeah there's a sort of dampener along the clutch line that you can delete. Allows you to get a better idea of what the clutch is doing without it.
The easiest way is to get a single clutch line from the master to the slave cylinder (a few of us have a custom Goodridge line from a group buy) , but you could probably do it cheaper with the correct AN- fittings.

Just looked on eBay. There are quite a few options to buy a single Braided Clutch Line from the States, but bear in mind that they may be a tad on the long side as the master cylinder is on the other side of the car there.

The other side is not really an issue, since I'm in the part of the world, where steering wheel is on the left side of the car.NafemanNathan wrote:Just looked on eBay. So all in all - there is some sort of clutch dampening going on in 4th gens?
I thought that such an old and basic car doesn't come with such thing

Of course! I forgot you were on the wrong side!
And I wouldn't call a Prelude a "basic" car by any means
