By utilizing an assistant and a multi-meter I finally discovered where all the electricity (1-1/2 A) is going. The ignition switch!
By pulling that fuse the draw went to 0. Now what? Is the switch partially shorted (I know it's bad mechanically, cuz the key won't come out) or is it feeding some mysterious device hidden in the bowels of the Prelude. What to do, what to do?

I would suspect something else on the circuit, rather than just the keyswitch.

Bluejack
OK I did that. Both the main wire and the multi connector and still have 1-1/2 A drain. The radio is some funkydoodle aftermarket thing so I pulled it out of the dash, disconnected every wire on it and put on the floor. Still got that silly amp and a half. I'm afraid to check my blood pressure.

Start considering anything that has a permanent 12V even with the ingition off.
ECU, central locking, clock etc.
There can't be that much as 99% of possible causes have no feed with the ignition off.
What happens if the ignition is not being fully switched off? Check the feed to the main relay?
