not tried the b&g carbon wrap but Dbo is getting his cf wrap bonnet laquered next week.....
£10 posted for the can and i will have it as both front wings need redone - i take it the only topcoat needed will be clear laquer?

careful what you lacquer. dbo has 3M din-oc which might clearcoat nicely but any of the other type will disapear. what you will be left with is nice vinyl with clearcoat over it and the pattern of the 'CF'. the clear can and will knock out the rflective properties of the wrap so it will look flat and dead.

do a tester first...

i found one very thin coat of halfrauds gave it a hi sheen. any more and the 'carbon' look goes away :( if you got any dry patches of clear you would not be able to cut it back and you would not be able to put more on.

i would not clearcoat wrap. its not really workable.

the di-noc? im not convinced either to be honest. it relies on the grooves throwning the light. full of clearcoart the might not send it back the same.....

i was using 3M 1080 carbon.

here is the black and gold, think it would go well with phantom grey pearl, to be honest im not really a fan of the 3d textured wrap (it looks mat)

That stuff in the pics looks crap compared to the 3D wrap I used, it isn't that matt either.

it looks different because it isnt bubble free ( bubble free has air chanels in the adhensive and makes it thicker, usuially used for 3d so to hide this feature) this is harder to fit so i wouldnt wrap a whole car (would be real hard) just the sunroof pannel, as its not bubble free the surface has to be near perfect as it will show imperfections. its not i dont like mat, just not on curves ( squarer cars look good it mat) curves should be shiney and deep :D
