So did a couple of little jobs last weekend..
Managed to remove my A/C control unit which had common fault of the buttons not changing the different blower modes, so found a walk through on YouTube to fix the dry solder joints on the circuit board, fiddly little job and my hand wasn't steady enough so I got my brother to do the soldering and all work good now, no pictures sorry didn't get chance but the walk through I used is
Also managed to remove my bottom pulley off the h22 which I found to be shot and the outer ring came completely off so if anyone knows of a good lightweight pulley lets know..

Couple of little bits done today..
Firstly I put my car back together after taking the gearstick surround out to get to the A/C controls two weeks ago but before that I thought I'd put my DC2R gearstick gaiter in which I've had for years that mum kindly brought over for me (along with dc2 gearknob and my 300mm sparco wheel).
Looks good I reckon

Also stripped abit more of the engine but once again came to a halt, this time by not having a breaker bar to undo the head bolts
So I decided to put some Amber indicator lenses in to see what they look like with the amber corners.. Unsure really

After that I decided to steam clean the seats out the bb1 and I think they have come up alright, might put these in at some point when I sort the rest of the interior out

(Lines in fabric not permanent just brush marks)
Oh yeah lastly, I bought a little something to go on when the engines in

12 month old TEIN S-TECH springs on good condition KYB shocks
$150... thank you sir I'll have them

That gear gaitor fits really well (not sure on the suede look though). Didn't realise the dc2 type r gaitor was a direct fit

Ripped the head clean off tonight!!

And found a score in the bore!

Now I'm a little worried about this, it's quite a nasty score and I don't know if it will come out with a simple honing..

I may take the block to a local engine guy and see what he says in the new year, starting to think about possible boring out and oversized Pistonswurlycorner wrote:Yeah that's a bit nasty
