Yep, driveshaft can be the only thing allowing that all to slide back in correctly, surely?
You have also got both sides jacked up off the floor at the same time (allowing the ARB to sit level/not under tension on one side), right?

As a general comment though... Damn that is all nice and clean and rust/dirt free in there!!!

Have a good feel of the inner cv boot, you may be able to feel the bearings if they have come out too far stopping the shaft pushing into the cup, if there in place you should be able to slide the shaft in and out an inch or so smoothly and the boot will compress quite a bit..

So yeah you's were right the little rollers had come unlodged and stayed out side of the unit at an angle

It only took 30 minutes to swap the passenger side front too,what this long slog should have done in the beginning but another learning curve got even if it was small and painful,and to study the fecking manual properly first too...

Thanks again for the advice 8-) don't think i have anything to bother you all with this side of the new year :lol:
