Nice to see another 3rd gen getting this much attention :)

I say colour coded trim as well. It's what I did on mine. I wouldn't say it makes it more modern looking (that's not even what you'd be aiming for), but I think it does take them up a class... Much like the grey bumpers on the EX takes them down a class.

Thanks for opinions guys. I have decided to with the black mouldings to break up the red. As for attention, I'm giving it my all. Who knows, might make LOTM ;)

Getting prepped for the full respray. Window trims & all rubber seals coming off next.

Nearside arch rust cut out:

Offside we found this dirty secret hiding :o

So glad I have uncovered this as I can now have it sorted. The arches on these are truly bum droppings.

Yeah man its not the end of the world, most of these cars rot here, wasn't a big job i think it was about £360 to get both arches welded and painted then I paid £100 for a proper machine polish.

Ok so I thought to myself, Mimms is coming up this Sunday. I haven't taken this car to any show/meet. So spoke to my mate whos doing all the work & asked if I could have the car ready for Saturday night & he said yes. By the way, anyone from here going to Mimms? Come & say hello if you see my car, I'll be in a Prelude stand somewhere.

I decided I wanted to respray the whole car. So all trims came off, the trims that are no longer available had to be masked & painted over but I have no choice there. All window trims, badges, door handles etc are coming off:
