Clicking noise from brake pedal

My Lude has recently developed a clicking noise when I press the brake pedal. I've had it checked out and the mechanic has greased up the area and checked the pin (not sure what's the correct name for it) and although he can't not find anything wrong with it the problem still hasn't gone away

, does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be?

Could it be the switch for the brake lights/cruise?

Very difficult to suss without hearing it tbh.
Can you feel anything when it clicks? Does it sound like the noise is coming from the pedal box?

Could you post a video of the noise?

Hi Iain yep you can feel it as it clicks, there is no noticeable difference in braking performance it's more of an annoyance will try to upload a video at the weekend.
