(I assume I have them in the other headlight, as that has always been fine, just another thing the previous owner decided to not do correctly!)

OK, so you're having a problem with just the one headlight!

Are you having a problem with BOTH bulbs within the headlight or just one?

Noooo! I'm missing the housing on one side and not the other.

When we first had the car the other half has to pretty much re-wire it as the previous owner had tried and failed.
Stereo, speakers, lights, alarm, dash. All messed up.

Mind you, he thought my main relay issue was due to not putting his seat belt on straight away when starting her up. He also put lexus lights on the rear. He obviously didn't have a clue!

have you got 2 piece ukdm lights or 1 piece jdm ones? and are your lights blackbacked or chrome backed?
because i have a full spare set of mint jdm 1 piece facelift chromebacked up for grabs

bulbs and holder clips and round rubber things

all in place

Headlights, not my strong point!

At least I now know what I need to brush up on knowledge wise!!!
