They are not much use on a road car if that car is already polybushed with upper braces and decent coilovers. All the lower braces do is maintain the distance between the two lower arm bushes on the subframe.

Mine is soon to be poly bushed and I just need a rear strut brace. So I guess I should spend the money elsewhere then. Wanting to do asmuch work as I can on the chassis

Yeah your money is better spent elsewhere. I have a rear lower brace, not sure if I needed it but it was a bit of bling and adds a bit of weight to the car ;)

Running a front lower brace is always a bit of a gamble if you're going to be running the car on the public road anyway. Wouldn't want to catch that on a speed bump :?
