Best to still be careful when you go to open the rad cap though, just in case... :scaredtoss:
;)
Yeah will wear gloves just incase :-P
Couldn't bring myself to look at her for a while but still love her and only had about 85k on the clock so want to restore her properly. Literally on way to scrappies near me where there is a spare lude see what I can get from it

Also thanks guys I will keep you all posted

So nipped to a local scrappies picked up couple things for the lude. Rear weather strip with most of the clips in tact powersteering bolts and interior speaker covers with tweeters all for 30 quid

Looks like those tweeter covers don't have standard tweeters in them? (Yours have OFC coming out of them and that's not Oem)

Well now that we are all moved in and somewhat settled it was time to get the lude to her new home.

This took 2 hours to get on the trailer with some questionable tactics along with the broken front suspension.

Then she was home

She is now off and sitting on axle stands and topped up the oil and coolant ready for the charged battery on tonight.

well that didnt happen...the battery may be as dead as a dodo. There is enough to get the car just ticking and almost firing up gets so very close then says no...i have kept on charge for couple of days - going to change the spark plugs tonight and then try again. failing that ill have to check Dizzy for the points
