When I got the car I was in for a very pleasant surprise. I'd asked Pulleyn's about the engine cover and Marshall Honda had kindly offered to do it on their tab, but, it looked like they'd be out of time to do it, so I said leave for the moment and I'll keep my bonnet shut at JapFest

To open the bonnet and see this....

Seriously pleased, (feels like a new engine, hehe)
Also little things needed doing,
Interior lightbulb and boot light needed changing, some LED bulbs from the net, let their be light, well a little bit of light anyway.
Also my unruly boot springs needed that plastic clip thingy...

I've found http://www.lingshondaparts.com/ to be useful for finding little odds and ends, such as the boot thing and also plastic clips for the rubber mouldings on the bonnet, (the ones that lie over the headlights).
Bit of wax today, not a proper clean, (I've a day off before JapFest to give it a liquid clay, polish, extra gloss protection and then cannuba, it's a Meguiars 3 stage thing and the Autoglym protection). Going around the car their is still much to be done, little odds and ends to maintain and improve appearance, at some point i'd like to refurb the alloys as well.
That said it doesn't look bad and after spending over 5K I'm very pleased, it's a smooth drive, pulls nicely and even though it's a 5G it looks the part, (seeing all the beautiful 4Gs on the forum makes me nostalgic for my old Preludes, but, I do love the 5G).

I changed my door defenders to the one piece longer versions.

Fingers crossed the weathers good on Friday for a proper clean inside and out.
P.S. Bloody skint now!
