I've been through the search and there are many conflicting suggestions on what to get so what are people recommending these days?
I'm after low road noise, and good all round performance for not too much.
Im running standard 16" at the moment so something to fit those.
Rainsports I know are good, but what else is on either side of the budget?
I should note I have Falkens at the moment and they are terrible so I dont want them again.
Suggestions?

Uniroyal Rainsport 2. Nothing else IMO. They are soft so get warm quick in the wet and are very quiet. Tread wear may be effected but i dont care about that.
Top end of the budget is the AD08s which is what im trying next.
Apparently the New Dunlop SportMaxx RT are good and the eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s

$h*t nevermind. They don't make them in my size! I've got Toyo TR1's on the prelude, I find them OK in the wet when they've got plenty tread and it's not too cold. But when it gets near freezing and there's less than 3mm left, I've driven on much better. Plus they are absolutely hopeless in any snow.
Any other suggestions for good 15 inch wet weather tyre that's 185/60 or close?
EDIT: What about the rainexpert? Looks like they won a best buy award from Which, when they tested a tyre exactly my size.

I've been through several sets of T1R's on my prelude. Before then I've had conti's, good years, pirelli's, dunlops, and a couple of others fitted to it (I used to go through tyres quickly).
IMHO T1R's are as good as the very best road tyres in dry hot conditions, which for the money makes them great tyres. They're good to average in the wet depending on how much tread is left. They're average to poor in cold wet conditions. In freezing conditions they're poor and just plain dangerous in ice and snow.
