The 'look at what I did today' thread

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Tidied the barn up today, needed to make more use of this space:

So I spun the bench around:

Then moved the shelf over. This meant I could line engines up on the left, gearboxes under the bench and all other parts on the shelving:

Much better 8-)

Still need to tidy the bench though, it's a total jobby heap!!

Not so much what I did today but what has happened in the past week.
Possible new job on the cards (awaiting the offer)
Keys to our new house (with prelude garage space)
and finally to top it all off I asked my partner to marry me...she said no to begin with as she thought it was a joke but think this pic says it all.

Nice wheels! Dunno about the black roof and air intake though....

Got back home tonight after nearly three weeks away - a day early. There's a possible new thread on the way (if I can be arsed).

In the meantime, a snippet from this afternoon:-
In Hebden Bridge, a man across the street says to his companions: "That might be the best car Honda ever made."
He walks past the back of the car, looks at the Lude's badging and exclaims: "It is!"

Share the pride, chums.

That little story reminds me, last week I took the little lad to Hendon Air museum.

Anyway, as I pull in and put the window down, the security chap on the gate says:
'Morning Sir, I very much like your car and I might have to put a note on it in case you want to sell me it. Park just down there on the left please!' :D

He didn't though, the tease.
