Re: Davey's 4th Gen BA8
Haven't had any updates in a long time, progress was slow with college commitments and work, but she's nearly finished now, few days from being mechanically finished and road worthy, but I've some body paint issues to tackle first before I put it on the road.
Here we go:

Stainless steel mani and down pipe. Sorry only photo I bothered to take.

Rear adjustable toe arm and resonated decat.
All fitted and sounding sweet. Started up first turn of the key. After 1 year. Although I had to rebuild the altenator as it wasn't working.

New cat converter for the test.

Rear brakes have been rebuilt and fitted. With stainless steel brake lines all round. All I've left to do is bleed the braking system and I'm looking to buy 2 brand new handbrake cables. New front windscreen and that's it then.

New battery, drop links, fuel filter, distributor cap, plug leads, plugs and ITG panel filter. Also put on stainless steel hose clamps.

Re: Davey's 4th Gen BA8
Yea it is a shame, let's hope the spherical joints hold up
I think a male ended track rod from another car might fit straight in there, was having a look before I bought, think it was an old ford model that looked like a perfect fit.
