Rear Toe Arm Cam Bolts

Where have people got replacement Rear Toe Arm Cam Bolts from if not from Honda?

It's typically one of those specialist items that isn't really that complex, but Honda want far too much for.

They look something like this...

But at £17.75 for each bolt, £7.45 for a cam washer and £7.61 for a frikin nut! Totalling £65.62 for both sides I'd like to see if there are any alternatives ;)

Part numbers are:-

52387SE0023 BOLT, LOWER ARM ADJUSTING
52388SE0030 PLATE, CAM
90216SE0305 NUT, RR. LOWER ARM, 10MM

Alternatively I have a set of these I can fit...

But do they require just a generic nut and bolt on the cross member end?...

It's one of those things I won't know until I get down there and offer it up, but then I need to be prepared. At the same time, as they didn't supply the bolts does it use the existing?

I used new OEM bolts from Honda. But I would assume that any properly fitting generic bolt will do as all of the adjustment comes from the aftermarket arms themselves rather than he adjustment adjustment washer on the OEM bolts.

I've not removed that zip-tie, but is it retaining two cones that come out and then go on the outside of the cross member and centre the rod-end about the hole? If that makes sense?

Or does all of that (cones and all) get sandwiched in between the cross member?

So just to check... The outer faces of the cones, are they larger than the holes in the rear sub frame? Basically if I got washers the same size (or near enough) as the outer face of those cones, and a nut and bolt to go through the lot I'd be good to go?

The bolt will be smaller than the hole in the rear sub though right? So what apart from cranking the bolt up super tight is there to stop the rod end floating about the hole?

Really need to see these things in pieces :lol:

Hmmm, it's not making much sense to me. In the OEM set up it's the cam washer and the intergrated cam washer on the bolt that "centres" the rod end. Thinking about it they must be sat in a counterbored hole in the sub frame for the washer OD to sit snug in the hole to do its thing, and up against a shoulder for the washer to then clamp up against when the bolt is tightened to prevent it all turning.

Just realised I haven't closed off the lines on the rod end towards the bore, but you get what I mean ;)

I used the existing bolts but as melin said all the adjustment is the other end on the aftermarket arms so normal bolts will do

It's more the washer element that causes issues though I think. Think I need washers exactly the same OD as the cam washer/bolt flange. Any larger it won't fit in what I imagine is a recess, any smaller then it prone to sliding about in the hole.
