Normally I'm fine but the scheduling this year is insane. 5 out of 6 exams are all between now and the end of next week, so there's no real respite. I suppose it's all over quicker that way though

I forgot to mention I chipped a tooth the other day and don't really have a dentist... so need to find time to sort that :?

Cheers chaps.

Wasn't too bad, but we'll see when the numbers come out

Girl in front of me had a full on breakdown though and had to leave. Poor thing.

I spoke too soon. The PS is leaking fluid again.
I note that my old 5G doesn't have a cooling section. That part of the circuit has simply been looped at the reservoir with rubber hose. I'm happy to go without extra cooling for most use, but we're planning more mountain passes.
Any opinions (relevant ones, that is)?
The next fix is holding so far ...
The trouble is, the long pipe forwards from the rack etc is corroded and pitted to an unknown extent. It seems as if every time I fix a leak, the fluid finds the next weakest point.

The real answer is to replace the lot, especially as I don't know the condition of the high pressure side. I can't see how to do this without lifting the engine out; there's just no room to get at all the joints.

I got back to the car earlier today after two days in the Solent checking out the boat in readiness for the season. All seemed OK. Then, five miles from home ... that noise again which tells me there's not enough PS fluid ...

This is so frustrating.
