Tracking and Alignment on a slammed lude

I'm needing to get my car's alignment done but two places now have said it's too low to get their equipment under the arch. Does anyone now any franchise that won't have an issue.

The two places I've tried are an independent place and Bathwick Tyres. The independent place had recommended Bathwick and Bathwick couldn't recommend anyone

@RattyMcClelland yours is about as low as mine...

I don't really want to drive for 2 hours with wobbly wheels though.

Difficult to say. I got a generic alignment. 0 deg toe at the front and 0.06 toe in on each rear wheel. That's all you can adjust anyway. Camber is whatever it is. Mine is at 2.2 degrees all round. About 6 degrees of castor iirc but a type s typically at around 2 degrees more castor than other ludes.

One thing to note. I had the alignment done a month before I dropped it to rich at paw. He noticed my wiggly rear end problems and mentioned my toe was all over the place. 8 degrees out in the rear.

The garage perhaps never tightened sure the adjustment bolts?

Maybe that's the cause of the wiggly rear end.

They deal with slammed cars all the time. They do alot of competition drift cars. My wagon drove straight on

Try and find a place that has its mirrors grip the wheel rather than the tyre?

I'm booked in at a performance place tomorrow. They recon they should be able to do it, but they still clamp over the wheel

And if they can't do it there's one other place I need to drive across town for straight away (they don't need a booking). Fingers crossed one of them can sort me out tomorrow as I really want to put my foot down now the car's fully poly bushed and the ARB's are uprated

Well I'm currently in the waiting room having the alignment done. Good news is they have the right equipment

The bad news is I'm an hour behind schedule and it's my boy's second birthday party

I arrived on time and parked up, but the car park is on such a decline that when the guy went to start the car to take it into the shop all the just-under-a-quarter-of-a-tank-of-fuel was no where near the pick up, so the car wouldn't start

After nearly an hour of trying it, pushing it into slightly different spots and trying it, finally my mum arrives with 5 litres of unleaded to bring her back to life!

Fortunately they have a man spare as parts for another car hadn't arrived, so there's two guys working on it now. But honestly what a fiasco getting this damn car aligned!
