Mini Service
Got all my parts for a mini service before I put the car back on road and for MOT. :scaredtoss:

Image

OEM Honda Battery from Cox Motor sports
OEM Honda Fuel Filter
NGK Spark plugs (PZFR6-11)
10W40 Oil - Super MobilS
Bosch Superplus Wiper (21" and 19" for front and 13" for rear)
Honda OEM rear discs and pads (have some spare brake fluid so might flus the whole system and get it replaced at the same time)
Just waiting for a HAMP oil filter.

I have got ATR front brake discs at the front and I'd only done around 1.5K miles on them so I don;t think I will need to replace them. Hopefully it's just the surface rust.
I have also got 4L of coolant (Red one) in the garage that I got long time ago, so might just check the level of coolant and top that up too. As I saw LL had his coolant missing from this Type-S. :o

Another tiny update.

Ordered a fresh new Rocker cover refurbed in wrinkle red (OEM) colour from JDMBB4 (Dave) 8-) and started on cleaning the car a bit. Only managed to clean the window sills as they had some dirty algae growth on them. :?

Masked of the car's paint work, cleaned with a normal car washing liquid, dried and applied some sealant on top..

Glad you kept the Prelude in the end Nitin.
You would have definitely regretted selling it - believe me - lol

Amazing how dirty it gets when its just left on the driveway for such a long time. I would be itching to clean it every week.

No doubt it will be looking pristine very soon :)

Just to update, Type-S is back on the road.... :)

MOT passed and Road tax was done (tax has jumped a bit since I did it last time.. :o )

I left the car standing for so long that the spark plug seals were perished and then let the oil in and caused a misfire... :? :o

Put a brand new Rocker cover with new plug seals along with new rocker cover gasket. That solved the misfire and the smokey cloud problem. While there we did an oil and filter change too. Just got back from my friend's garage now (night time) and it was a bit too late to test out the VTEC. Tomorrow I'll go for one blast and free up the brakes too.

Mileage - 170,000km
Oil (10w40) + Hamp filter
New Spark plugs
New H22A Rocker Cover + Gasket/Seals
