It's been nice weather here today, and seeing as I've got a new toy that I'm desperate to drive I decided to take the dogs over to the Ashdown forest. They found a pond to play in and that was them occupied for the best part of an hour  nice smell of wet dogs in the truck now... Out of all the cars I've used for carrying the dogs round in I reckon this is the easiest, the fold down tailgate is really helpful as it gives me a chance to grab their leads before they bolt :) good times all round.

Should have listened to your Mummy when you were little about splashing about in muddy water. Now see where it has got you.

But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

Hooray! The Prelude is back on the road.

A bit of welding, some brake work, a couple of bulbs and the weird power steering pipe sourced from Brandon, and hey presto! another year's MoT.

I spoke too soon. The PS is leaking fluid again.
I note that my old 5G doesn't have a cooling section. That part of the circuit has simply been looped at the reservoir with rubber hose. I'm happy to go without extra cooling for most use, but we're planning more mountain passes.
Any opinions (relevant ones, that is)?

Turns out my neighbour's even more of an idiot than I originally thought. He'd set fire to his rather large evergreen hedge at the bottom of his garden after trying to burn weeds! I clocked the rather thick brown smoke out of my upstairs window and thought that looks rather close to the hedge! :?

I rushed down there with my 50ft hose and started dousing it where it joins my fence and my rather dried out overgrowth :?and I could see his Mum on the phone to the emergency services. They turned up about 5-10 minutes after where by this time it had eaten most of the way through his whole back border and into the side (About 25ft in total).

Although I was dousing my fence and garden a lot of me was really hoping it would take out the whole of the overgrowth  Sadly the wind wasn't blowing in the right direction. It would have been pretty epic mind
