The only engine that I have that will do the job is the H22a8 in my 5th gen

that was pretty unlucky

no doubt you were set for a good result - ive been out in the track lude a number of times recently and it felt very competative
gutted for you but there were quite a few other cars that didnt make it due to technical problems
interested to see what went wrong - i just wonder if it could be dizzy related and failure is similar to what bennyboy had

What's happened to the engine do you think? If there is clutch slip, was it crank seal leaking?
Any H22A or A8 would do, wouldn't it? To keep you around the same power? Will you need to get it re-dyno'd with a new engine?

I would be surprised since ti was a brand new dizzy, there was no evidence of it, no misfires and it idled good.

I could get a black top H22a up a little bit by using the cams from the knackered red top H22a. Even a H22a2/a5 would do the job it would require me to fit cams, ATR IM & TB and tune it so not the preferred route.
