4th & 5th Gens power steering pump the same/interchangeable?

Are the 4th and 5th gen power steering pump the same or interchangeable?

I would of thought both engines being the same H22 there the same right?

I have a 5th Gen pump on a H22A2 if that's what you mean.

Or do you mean will a 4G pump work on a 5g?

Yeah I wondered if the 5th Gen pumps fit a 4th Gen?

I think they dont. Jus becouse of fluid hose is diferent. Whrn i swap my engine i used 4gen pump, and if i remember bracket is diferent.

I am struggling with this, some people say yes, some say no??

I have a power steering pump taken off a H22A8 and wondered if it will fit a H22A2?

Im thinking it wont..???

You can't use a 5th gen pump in a 4th gen no - as the pipe runs are different.

I had same problem when fitting a h22a into my 5th gen. Pipe work is different an all so the bracket is different
