Long time no update:
Engine is getting rebuilt with an interesting spec:
h23a2 head and intake manifold,
f20a4 block bored to 86mm
f20a4 crank
h22 eagle forged rods
FA20 (toyota gt86) forged pistons
There are no forged internals for f20a4, best fit is Bisimoto's f22 forged internals, but it makes using f22 or h23 crank mandatory and those cranks are notoriously weak.
Therefore, I decided to use my own crank. Best fit for forged rods to pair it with are h22's, but that leaves me in search for a piston with higher compression height. Luckily, Arias pistons makes low compression pistons for toyota gt86/Subaru br-z which are perfect fit by bore, wrist pin diameter, compression height and dish volume which will leave me at stock 9.5:1 CR. Only thing left to worry about is valve clearance. H23a2 has lower lift than toyota, toyota has bigger intake valves and h23a2's pistons are nearly completely flat so I should be good. If not, it will be one hell of an expensive mistake
Meanwhile, while engine is out, a complete respray is in order, choices are:
1. Staying OEM green

2. Vauxhall Arden blue from OPC

3. Deep bronze from FN2

For now, blue wins
In any case, Motegi wheels painted in Mercedes gunmetal something color are going up together with ATR calipers.

Love what you're doing with the engine. I love "thinking outside the box" builds
Have to say though, I also love the OEM green! I think it's one of the best OEM colours on a 5th gen... And there's not many about! I'd be gutted if you changed that... Especially for that blue

Yes, I know it is special, just got bored with it. Hey, there is always a next respray in 5 years
Most people love the blue choice until I say it is from Opel/Vauxhall. Then suddenly they hate it
It will be prepared in a month, then I will just put all the three choices in a hat and let luck decide.
Not much will be left from green color anyway, this guy is thorough:

btw that Delsol in upper left corner is forged K20/K24 turbo AWD

@Brozilla great build mate! kudos.
I have a Cypress Green Prelude, i Love the Ficus Green yours looks very similar. If i was in your position I'd do it Oem with a Dark Lacquer
...If not, I'd also love to see this...
Deep bronze!

And yes, looks to me that it will be deep bronze after all, as I was lurking for colors, I actually found one 5th gen already painted in OPC blue and it is...hideous.
As you can see, I am not really an OEM guy
