@stefan The caster is massively out which point to the radius rods. The reason why caster is the same before and after is that caster is non-adjustable on OEM radius rods. I'd (just about) bet my house on this being the issue. Everything else is roughly balanced. The only thing that can effect caster is the radius rod. Toe can be effected by caster but not the other way round.stefan wrote:Hi guys. So, i been on alignment today and here are results :
before:
and after:
What is strange for me, is why caster was wrong on the left wheel before, and on the right after ???? Guy told me , it that happen when he change rear. That is completely non logical. Difference in camber between both sides is quite big as well.
Anyway, handling is better now especially on the bumps. But i still feels, that car is not safe.![]()
And here is my question, there is anyone from Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh area , who could spotted with me? Somebody with fifth gen (maybe with coilovers). I need some other lude user. Did anone could help me ?
With the caster like that the front wheels of the car is pointing in a different direction to not only the rear wheels but the whole car.

can you not adjust the front radius rods by adding/subtracting the number of shim washers

@stefan You need to do what Vtecmec suggested back at the beginning. You need to see if the front left radius rod nut is loose. If it is loose this allow the wheel to move towards the rear of the wheel well. Also if the nut is loose you will need to replace it. But it could also be a bent rod or front beam. I'll try and find one of my wheel alignment sheets to see what the normal caster values are.Vtecmec wrote:Check the front radius rods where they connect to the front crossmember, they can come loose and give the symptoms you describe.

I know that. But why machine marks on red caster on left wheel before adjusting and on right wheel after adjusting ??Merlin wrote:The reason why caster is the same before and after is that caster is non-adjustable on OEM radius rods.

I'm going to check this again right now .Merlin wrote:You need to see if the front left radius rod nut is loose.

I've checked those radius rods nuts, they are tight. All i can do, is change the bushes on them for poly ones, because i can't say if they are still good

So, is nobody on this area, who likes to have a spot with me ?stefan wrote:And here is my question, there is anyone from Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh area , who could spotted with me? Somebody with fifth gen (maybe with coilovers). I need some other lude user. Did anone could help me ?
