Did you support the underneath of the engine before removing and refitting that engine mount?

Then I used a high temp lacquer just because the mount is pretty near the manifold

Be interesting to see how the lacquer fares - they come sometimes yellow with age/heat?

thats a really good job done filling these mounts - looks like done by a pro
not easy to work with that poly gunk

thanks dude yeah it's a better job than my front mount and you won't see this one haha just need to get surface rust off the metal and give it a coat of black paint, I'm impressed myself how well it's been done too lol and it's a bit of a stiffer ride with just the front mount done God knows how much the car is gonna vibrate when I fit this onevanzep wrote:thats a really good job done filling these mounts - looks like done by a pro![]()

Its quite easy to do this what you need is some cling film to put over it once you have filled it then you can smooth it out with your fingers
