Re: White BB4 JDM 2WS UPDATE 23/02/16 fiberglass and paintin
Had to make the most of the good weather so I decided to start work on the little bubbles of rust at the bottom of the arches. I decided to fiberglass it then I filled it.I will sand it back and paint it tomorow.its not bad rust so this will definatly do the trick.
I also removed my cam cover to inspect the timing belt and it definitely needs to be replaced as I can see cracks and wear on the belt.I decided to repaint the cam cover and degrease the engine bay again.I started using oem silver engine block paint aswell to give it a good finish.

Smick!
Nothing like getting stuck into the cleaning
Are you going to keep the facelift chromey headlights/amber front indicators and black nostrils?
Mine was the same when i got it just one donor car later and some wardrobe sampling made me swap them but they look good either way especially on a clean lude!
I was there too when i bought mine, the waterpump failed so thought i would give it a go,got all the parts from Rockauto/KS and failed after 2 Saturdays trying to get the crank bolt off,a tow later and $400 and she was done,i just ran out of time and knuckleskin and it's my daily too, still it's worth a try, would have loved a fellow owner to help too as it was all new to me,maybe next time.
