NGK Laser Platinum's (PZFR6F-11), NGK Lazer Iridium's (IZFR6F-11) or NGK IX Iridium (ZFR6FIX-11).

Whats the difference between platinum and iridium? (other than price) seems the iridium plugs are alot more in cost.
Would it be just a longer lasting plug? Any performance improvements?

Platinum are more durable and I think Iridium may spark slightly hotter but they last only a 3rd of the time.

thanks merlin.
When you say spark hotter is that better for the combustion? Would that have any positive effect on a stock h22?

Never really understood the difference when people say hot and cold plugs etc.
I would assume the platinum type is the standard OEM type plug for the h22.

I have platinum in the 4th gen and IX Iridium in my 5th gen. Both work good.
