Right gents. Got the tyres onto the wheels today. New security lug-nuts also bought so we're ready for fitting tomorrow. I'm going to spend tomorrow morning getting down and dirty in the arches cleaning the living daylights out them. Don't want to spoil the overall impression when they're bolted on.
Just back from the tyre centre.

Time to rest the OEM Enkeis.

The tyres and wheels will give it a subtle menace I think, frighten the locals.

I told Jason not to fit spacers...

Big reveal tomorrow gents. Can't wait.

Today was wheel and tyre day. Armed with my bucket, cloths and a selection of cleaning products I loaded up the wheels and set up shop out t'back of Jason's garage.
First job, off with the old Enkeis.

Then the scrubbing commences, from this...

To this...

And from this...

To this...

One final peek at my handywork

Then it's on with the sexy, tyre and wheel combo.

And back home to sit gawping at how ace everything now looks.

In a bit of detail

And t'back end

I'm really chuffed at how it's all worked out. I think they look fab and give the car a whole new look. Hope you like the finished product gents.

I liked the wheels anyway, buy they look even better on! The two tone silver works perfectly with your body colour and front light/indicator combo
Happy days!

Morning all, am I just imagining this or is my feeling that steering is so much lighter a reality? Honestly, it feels light years away from two days ago, so much easier, less grunt, and easier to point where I want it.
Is this what I should be feeling or am I in some kind of post-sexy-wheel fitting bliss?
