Cheers Merc :) you'd like the gearbox ;) I'll probably get lynched for saying this but I actually found the H22A/auto box combo quite nice on the way home, they go really well together. I still think ill end up swapping in a manual box though

I finally got good weather, tools, hard standing and time to meet on the same day, so fitted a new track rod so that I could drive it home. At less than 5 deg. out on the tracking, I felt I could nurse the car back without damage. But a tight right-hander into our track showed that something else is amiss ...
According to my son, following in his works van, the camber on the turn moved to an alarming positive angle. Something else is amiss that I haven't spotted.

I'm tired of this game.

It was my turn this evening to host our Old Gits Classic Albums thing.

Amid a few singles, I played Captain Beefheart's Clear Spot and John Martyn's Solid Air.
Check them out. These two chaps did it their own way. 4 decades old and still special.

I put on my new set of £3.75 (delivered) wiper blades today. Nothing bad to say about them despite the crazy low price.
