ATR Inlet Manifold/Fuel Line Pics wanted (4G)
Post by Dino » Thu Jan 28, 2016 3:25 pm
Gentlemen.
Ive got an ATR Inlet manifold to fit to fit on my 4th gen.
It is fitted With an ATR Fuel rail.
I will need to get a fuel line made up with banjo bolts.
So what I'm asking for is, if anyone can post up a few pics of their ATR inlet manifold with ATR Fuel Rail fitted on a 4th Gen (Not 5th)
Its so I can see how the routing is likely to go.
Cheers,
Marc

Sorry I have not got around to getting you some pics, although I have been at the garage I haven been near my car
What is the issue you are facing? That the 4G fuel line does not reach the ATR fuel rail?
I am using an aftermarket Lude fuel rail with an adapter plate that attaches it to the IM (well you should know/remember that
). I had no issue using the stock fuel line and attaching it to my fuel rail/FPR.

There are 3 fuel lines that come from the tank all the way into the engine bay. The main fuel line, the fuel return line and the EVAP line. I assume you are removing the EVAP system? If you do remove the EVAP you can either cut the line in the engine bay or at the fuel tank, the EVAP line needs to vent so don't crimp/seal it.
The fuel return line, which goes to the fuel pressure regulator, terminates on the fire wall and transfers to a soft line that has plenty slack in it.
The main fuel line terminates at the fuel filter, then a hard/soft line takes it to the fuel rail. I have not looked into it as all my lines were long enough but I would imagine that you could take a new soft line from the fuel filter, routing it how you want, to the fuel rail. I am pretty sure the line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail has banjo fittings on both ends.
