sunroof drains exit in the wheel wells get a length of wire and poke it through

Thanks mercutio....il give that a try on sunday now. Im back to work tomorow....I start in the dark and finish in the dark...12 hour shifts. Il keep you lot updated. Hopefully no major issues. Mind you car feels nice to drive with all that weight removed. I have a 2ltr sports.

Yep, where the drains actually exit the body of the car, the big fat clear hoses are connected into black rubber bits (spouts with bladders on the outside).

Pull the clear hoses out of the black rubber bits (they just pull out, nothing complicated, leaving the rubber bits fixed in the body) so you can get properly into the black rubber bits. Then use bits of electrical wire to push the crap out of the black rubber bladders. Don't use something like coat hangers, or you are likely to puncture/tear the rubber.
Alternatively you can pull the rubber bits out of the body and clean them out under a tap - up to you, just make sure you refit them properly back into the body (they fit like electrical grommets).

Hi, so i pocked some wire down the pipes and nothing seemed blocked. I then got some water and poured it down the pipe and it came out as it should out of the car under the bumper. Which leaves me to think is the leak coming from somewhere else within the boot? All seals seem ok to me

I need to give it a jet wash test i suppose.

My bet is on the rear light seals.

you right Ratty, as it was only rainly slightly today i was able to see where the leak was coming from today and its from the rear passenger light seal. Now i just need to wait for a dry day to strip the bumper off.

Any things to look out for when removing the rear bumper??
