Ah...
So it resets the ecu imobiliser (to no key) but the ecu requires a new (pukka) key straight after, in order to be reprogrammed?

That makes sense...

i did say "Think" :lol: i asked at work though and apparently before the invention of key readers the red key was the only key that could be cloned to produce new keys and the reason they didnt want you using it was in case it was damaged or lost.

but that was generic info might not all apply to Honda
