Been driving it about today and i really pleased with how its running....
Still getting used to 4ws which has nearly caught me out a couple of times

Thanks to @3rd gen steve @newkid and @merlin for help getting it fixed up

fortunately i had a few spare grommet/clips left over from the old one so had a look and checked out how they work and realised that youve got to tighten up the screws in the grommets in order to close that gap

Anyway im going to sort that out now

Yes, you have to tighten it down!

It's a good fitment. The coating just isn't up to the job though.

yes - i guess i should read the manual before doing the job

i normally do that but rushed fitting this one in order to stop any leaks into the boot as quickly as possible

i rekon that quite a few of these strips DONT need replaced if they are leaking they just need tightened up a bit further as they can pull up about quarter of an inch - the screws take a lot of turning to fully tighten and the foam pads underneath the clips do compress over time if you get what i mean

Mines an eyesore too,has anyone re-coated there's in something like a plasti dip paint or similar?

Shame to replace it when mines good and water tight and has just got a buggered surface..

price from Honda was about £70 including vat

not too sure what to do with this thread as i have started a lude profile for this BB1
