Refurbished UKDM Headlights kicking the wrong way

To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

I think Merc is saying the pattern being projected from the lense is correct as it leaves the housing, but for some reason everything is tilted to the left slightly - the kick up is being made to look like the horizontal section as a result and vice versa.

What adjustment is there on the headlights?? Is it only up/down? Looks like the beam needs rotating clockwise then it should be ok, no idea how easy that is to achieve though:?

Yeah, that's what I thought, if both were to be rotated about 10 degrees clockwise then all would be well. But there's no way to rotate, there's just up/down and subtley left and right.

There's also a ball joint that connects the reflector unit to the housing, so you can't even accidentally get it in the wrong position.

Yer looks correct just the angle is 45 degrees to the left so the kick up becomes the flat part.
Something must be wrong on the beam blocker in the reflector parts.

Just been out and had a look and I think the reflector units are different how the bulb locates. I'll have another look tomorrow when it's light and not raining, but it looks like between these and the Headlights I've just removed the bulbs are rotated 90 degrees.

In which case these are European/USDM and shouldn't have passed an mot

I shall confirm tomorrow and in which case quickly splitting two sets of lights

If you don't have usable spares I might have a set kicking about that you can butcher, not sure but they're yours for postage if I do. Would have to wait until I'm back in the UK though.

Cheers m'dears, that's very kind of you :)

I should be OK with what I've got however. The ones I removed already have painted black insides, but the lenses are cloudy on the inside and one of the innards is loose, so I'll just take them apart, clean the lenses up and close them back up.

Just need to wait until the missus is out so I can stick them in the oven ;)

Exactly. Originally (I assume) on Gordonlear's lude, and then on mine (which passed an mot).
