No - there was too much missing from it that needs to come from the original engine (fuses, ignition barrel, fuel tank all gone, rad was ruined too) so going to get it in the green one, run it, compression test, if all is well then full service, gaskets, water pump, etc. Trying to keep as much as possible from the original, lower mileage engine though. The lad I bought it off said he drove it from London to Bradford no issues (other than the box felt a bit iffy but I'll be using my original box) but that was 2 years ago or so and it's sat since then.wurlycorner wrote:Good progress.
