Id say your alternator is on its way. 14.6/7 is what it should run at ur dropping way below that when powering up.

Is it possible the ECU isn't sending the right signals to compensate though? Remember I'm running an AEM standalone ECU and they're not the best at reading Honda sensors apparently.

The alternator's definitely going to be my first port of call though.

Was going to say you could try a standard ECU but yours is the ATR lump so single runner inlet which then means immobiliser issues.

Yeah, it'd have to be an ATR ecu for a start, but some of the wiring has been spliced to suit a 5th gen, so complications would arise there

Spliced? Guessing the AEM is obd1? and instead of using a conversion harness they cut/chopped wires then re-spliced them?

No, things like where I had to spilce a Prelude IACV in place of the ATR one that was there (Differnent wiring). I'm just not sure of what other cases might be there, but would expect some.

Might be an option might not if the alternator swap doesn't work. I have the ecu from the 5th that has no immobiliser (positive I'm right on this with it being an import) your welcome to try, will be looking to run iab's or whatever you call them but other than that should be the same sensors?

Cheers bud. It would run like an absolute pig though... ATR inlet with S2000 injectors. If it does turn out to be that I'd have to consider getting the AEM looked at and either tweaked or replaced, in which case I'd opt for Hondata. It could even be a sensor(s).

Fingers crossed for it just being the alternator ;)
