Seems redundant now since everyone else has already said it, but: my old 406 did exactly this before, you guessed it, the alternator promptly died. It got to the point where it would stall between gear changes sometimes when slowing down to a junction.
Has your radio started cutting out when you use the brakes or wipers yet?

Lol. My stereo/amp is on the blink at the moment. Had to pull the fuse else it just buzzes in the front left speaker. That's on the list to lol.Donald wrote:Seems redundant now since everyone else has already said it, but: my old 406 did exactly this before, you guessed it, the alternator promptly died. It's definitely pointing at the alternator then. I do have to shift quickly.
At least the battery's alright by the sounds of it.

I'm being serious. Since my engine mounts were installed my car has idled alot lower. Or maybe I'm feeling it more like a placibo.NafemanNathan wrote:RattyMcClelland wrote:Mine has only ever done it since installing the innovative engine mounts.I have to assume that was a joke.

I made this video yesterday to give you guys a better idea of what's happening...

I made another one which shows the multimeter reading, but it takes an age to upload them, so I'll get on that tomorrow.
