Want a strip of leds inside your 5th gen headlights

Post by prelerepairman » Sat Oct 03, 2015 11:30 pm

I've devised a way of fitting a strip of l.e.d's inside headlamps on a 5th gen. They can become a line of sidelights or you could wire as daylights..switched or permanently on with ignition switch.
Anyone interested or got any thoughts on whether a row along the bottom ..or a strip up the side would look best?
Anyone know whether you could be legal with other than white.. yellow or green being the obvious alternatives? I'm sure blue or red would be a no no.

Only white light must shine from the front of the car if it isn't factory, I don't know where you could put them to make them not look tacky. Imo its a Honda not vag so dont mess it up

Led running lights always look tacky in older cars. Only suits 2011 cars onwards.

Moved to electrical, this is not a for sale thread.

Sorry bud. If you get something setup, completed and offer a proper service with pics as per the forum selling rules then you can post in the for sale thread.

Cheers,

Rob

Sorry for confusion. I'm not selling, just testing the water.
How do I target my offerings to the correct forum.
Which forum is for ideas??
Thanks.Roy
I definitely will not be selling this..it'll cost pennies... but you will need to remove headlight to fit internals.
