Yeah ill use plenty off paste. I have the same stuff as you . Got just enough left to get a couple of decent gaskets out of it

i just used assembly paste, figured it wouldnt do any harm to just use abit
and its a porous metal gasket so using abit when doubling up the gasket can only be a good thing

if the manifold to downpipe flange isn't square or is warped you can square them up with relative ease using a flapper wheel on ta angle grinder, checking with a straight edge or steel rule as you go so you dont over do it!

exhaust is blowing again after just one night of driving it. not to sure what to do now. Guna have to try and straighten out the flange which is warped I guess.

I used that manifold gasket from eBay,. Demontweeks, it was a near perfect fit and is fine 6 months after, but I am having trouble with the manifold to downpipe gasket, I bought a 'universal' one which should fit all ludes but the holes were too close together and the bolt holes didn't line up properly so I "adjusted" it sbut allowing a small amount of gas through. Is there a link or a seller with the correct fitment gasket anywhere for a JDM?

hey y'all! i saw this post a few days ago an thought...phew! just what i need, as ive been struggling to get gaskets for my fuji mani and downpipe. ive now decided to get custom made ones as i dont have anything to cut my own ones with sheet etc and i want a good job done.
today, i got to swap my o2 sensor for a new one as the old one is bringing up an error code 1, and i notice that my current downpipe ends much further back than i thought before hitting the flexi pipe
is this because its jdm fitment and not ukdm? as i thought the jdm fitment was shorter.... hmmm. it only comes up to where the bit for the o2 sensor, and theres about half a foot between the end of the fuji if i put it next to the current one, and the start of the flexi..... see (bad) pics

anyone else come across this problem? it it a case of getting a longer flexi pipe? or getting someone to weld in an extra bit of pipe?
