New Radiator

Post by newkid » Tue Sep 08, 2015 12:14 pm

Finally got round to doing the oil cooler o-ring and an oil change and swapped the bad looking rad for another, the other one unfortunately was a leaker so decided to buy an aluminium one, made an offer on one on ebay which was accepted. Yes it means its an ebay special but the fitment is spot on and will obviously cool far better than the OEM one. The only downside is the rads are based on EUDM fitments for the fan/shroud. Hopefully @wurlycorner is sorting me out with a UK fan/shroud. Also fitted the blue silicon hoses at the same time and replaced the coolant from blue/green to the newer red/pink.

I also have a honda-hardy cooling plate still to fit which should finish it off until the fujitsubo is fitted ;)

Also gave the car a quick wash/polish/wax, the wheels are temp until my new ones arrive so the car will look different again

I like how it sits in that low broken suspension look. Engine bay looking nicely dressed up too

I like those wheels, you should totally keep em ;)

Quick update, fitted the fujitsubo today and the car feels alot more responsive. Took a pic of how the bay is currently looking. Needs a good clean but thats alot further down the line.

Greddy evo2

Post by newkid » Sat Sep 12, 2015 6:34 pm

Finished installing the exhaust today, decided to use the greddy evo2 of the 5th gen as its a 4th gen exhaust and mated it up to the fujitsubo with the help of the UKDM decat I got of @wurlycorner.
