I went and picked up the keys to my new house today. Thought I'd stop by afterwards and photograph the two most important rooms:

Workshop room is cool!

Electric garage door - very posh! ;)

I notice they built the extra width on the wrong side of the car though... (extra width on the passenger side of the car rather than the drivers side, so you can get out!)
 or maybe they assumed people would drive in forwards, rather than reverse in? :?

Cheers mate :)

Yeah I can't wait to get set up in the work shop, it'll be nice not to have to work in the house anymore.

The electric garage door is a welcome change to my rickety old one that only opened from the inside

The shape of the plot dictated the shape of the garage, we're on the inside of a gentle curve and the garage has been built to fill the void between the house and the boundary. But yeah it's a shame it's on the left side. Would be nice if the floor was level between workshop and garage too, to make moving engines on stands easier.

Still, I'm sure it'll be a pretty useful space
