Thanks for the offer but I will be selling my 5th gen soon so I will not be doing the manual conversion.wurlycorner wrote:@gordonlear
All the manual conversion stuff is out. Do you still want it?
That's;I don't know whether you need any of the driveshaft parts and the gearbox mount, or whether these need to come from a 5g? Hopefully someone can confirm?
- All pedal assemblies
Gear shift linkages/assembly
Clutch master/slave cylinders and lines etc
I have a choice of 2x non-LSD boxes (will need to check the gearbox codes at the weekend, when I will also be able to remove the flywheel)
You're welcome to have the clutch as well if you want (I will take pics so you can see whether there's any meat on it)
Still on the gearbox is the starter motor and reverse light switch that you would also need
All bolts and cable clips/split pins included (even bolts you probably won't need 'cause they'll already be on your car)
If you can let me know please, because otherwise chris1811 may be interested.
Thanks
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Didn't get shot of it last weekend, ran out of time, but it went to meet its maker yesterday;

A few more shots of the rust, just for old times sake...

And this is the second lude I've broken that had a snapped front spring;

(as Phil spotted, this one in 2 places - look up inside at the top)

So the lesson there is... Don't use cheap coilover kits and don't cut oem springs, kids!
