Ok, time to start giving this car some of the love it deserves and needs (and to start fitting some of the parts I have been amassing)

So yesterday, I did this...

And this morning it looked like this;

And along the way, I discovered that when someone had fitted the rear running lights, they had taken their time to do a very neat job;

(The metal clips have corroded and broken slightly after all this time, but still a very neat job!)

The front of the car was interesting though... Several missing fixings, including these

(One bolt should hold the wing to the front panel and the second should hold the wing and headlight to the front panel)

Another missing headlight bolt;

And another;

I have made a list of all the bits that were missing :lol: but forgot to take a picture. I'll do that and post it later.

:lol: is that the nicest thing you can find to say about it? :lol:

Nah, but you're right, it is pretty clean/solid.
So either the rumours about Scotland being wet all the time are wrong... or the fact it's only got 80k on the clock (of which many are km, obviously) counts for quite a lot! :D

It does need a lot of smartening up though. White is very good at hiding imperfections, I found :|

But yep.. Also now replacing various missing bits too :lol:
